Ed Farris is a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Mooney and is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Farris Marketing.  He has served on the Cardinal Mooney Alumni Board for over twelve years and is a past president and past vice president of the board.  In addition, he served as co-chairperson of "The Cardinal Challenge," the Alumni Association's annual fund appeal for six years.

Ed was a captain in the 1994 capital campaign effort "The Campaign for Excellence" and chaired the committee that undertook the renovation of the boys' locker room in 1993.  In addition, Mr. Farris has been a member of the Career Day Committee.

He is active in the St. Maron's Church Choir and other educational fundraising activities at the church.  Mr. Farris has served on the parish council and is currently on the board of directors of the Youngstown Ad Club.

He and his wife Phyllis are the parents of two sons, Ed and Nick.  They reside in Boardman.
