One of the area’s top amateur golfers,
Ralph led Cardinal Mooney golfers for three years with a 37.5
average. During his tenure, Mooney golf teams were virtually unbeatable,
finishing as the City Series Champs in 1964, 1965, and 1966;,
finishing first or second in the Northeastern Ohio District Tournament
those three years and qualifying for the State in 1964 and 1965.
Ralph was the medalist in the District in 1965, finishing second
in 1964 and 1966. He finished third in the State in 1964 and 1966.
Ralph earned a golf Grant-in-Aid the Ohio State University and
while there captained the golf team. He is now a physician, specializing
in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Surgery and a founder of Parkside
Women’s Center. Ralph is married to the former Nacy J. Hosa and
has seven children.
