Dave will be best remembered as the
quarterback on Cardinal Mooney's first "State Championship"
team in 1973. His leadership and poise were instrumental in that
team's successful 11-1 season.
But, Dave's real forte was defense.
A fierce tackler and tenacious pass defender, Dave was recognized
in 1973 as an All-Steel Valley, All-Northeastern Ohio, and All-State
First Team defensive back. He participated in the 1974 North/South
Ohio All-Star game.
Dave was a three-year letterman in
football and earned two varsity letters in basketball and one
in baseball--to cement his reputation as a tremendous all around
athlete.
Dave graduated from Youngstown
State University and Ohio University's College of Osteopathic
Medicine and is currently a Family Practice Physician in Struthers.
He and his wife Judy have four children.
