John Sinclair becomes the second member of his family to be inducted into Cardinal Mooney’s Hall of Fame, joining his sister, Jill.  Rarely has an athlete so dominated his sport that he was rewarded with four consecutive All-SVC selections.  John was undefeated in his sophomore and senior seasons.  Playing #1 singles in 1978 and 1979, John still compiled a sparkling 50-9 career record.  John finished 3^rd in the 1979 sectional tournament, 2^nd in the 1979 districts, and qualified for the 1979 state tournament. 

John earned an athletic scholarship to YSU where he won two varsity tennis letters.  After graduating, he worked as a tennis professional at Tippecanoe Country Club, winning several tournaments. 

John works as an Audit Reviewer/Financial Analyst for the Cafaro Company.  He is married to the former Simone Kiraly.
