As an outstanding scorer and rebounder
on some of Cardinal Mooney’s best basketball teams, Tyrone
Ware is remembered as a clutch performer who was well thought
of by his fellow players and coaches. This talented performer
twice earned the Ted Lolakis Memorial Trophy for his outstanding
play on the basketball court.
Tyrone’s honors did not end there. He was a first-team All-Steel
Valley selection in both his junior and senior years. Additionally,
he was honored his senior season with his selection to the All-Northeast
Ohio team. Tyrone was also an outstanding track performer, setting
the school record in the high jump during his senior season.
Tyrone is as busy now as he was on the court. He lists mortgage
loan officer, real estate investor, and co-owner of a hair and
nail salon as his present occupations. He and his wife Leslie
have three children and reside in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
