A peer tutoring service program
where students help other students in all academic areas is available
through the Guidance Department.
The peer tutoring program was established in
order for students who are successfully achieving in a given subject
to help other students who are having difficulty. These students
are helped improve their knowledge and skills in the needed areas.
The number of members vary each year because it depends upon the
number of volunteers. The tutors learn to share with others and
the those being tutored learn the experience of improvement. Both
groups experience growth in achievement and self-esteem.
