Envirothon Teams are composed of 5 teams members and up to 3 alternates per team (2 teams may compete). In May they travel by bus to a predetermined site in Ohio where the teams move through stations, answering questions as a team. The questions are environmental in nature and cover such topics as tree and soil identification, wetland, forest and pond information. There is also a yearly topic, such as agricultural practice, point and non-point pollution. Practice begins in February and is once or twice a week through May. Mrs. Karen Wright advises.
