May Scholarships
Miami University is once again presenting the 2010 Bridges program. Bridges is an all expense paid (housing and meals), selective overnight visit program for academically ambitious high school seniors (class of 2011). Students who successfully complete the Bridges program and apply for admission to Miami for fall 2011 will receive a $50 admission application fee waiver.
Successful participants will also receive a $2500 four year renewable scholarship if they are accepted and enroll at Miami University Oxford campus for Fall 2011. Application criteria includes:
High school student graduating in 2011
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or the top 25% of graduating class
College prep curriculum
Demonstrated leadership/co-curricular involvement
Students from underrepresented populations or students who have a commitment to promoting a deeper understanding of and appreciation for cultural diversity.

April Scholarships
Wendy’s High School Heisman Award honors both male and female high school students who excel in academic, athletics and student leadership. Men and women entering their senior year of high school in the 2010 -2011 academic year who have at least a B grade average and participate in at least one school sponsored sport should apply. National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is offering two $2000 scholarships for students intending to pursue a career in television related fields. Students will fill out an online application which is available le on the website: nataslgl.org.
