Roy Nard is a member of the Mooney Health and Physical Education Department. He joined the faculty in 1974, having previously taught K-8 physical education at St. Christine School.

Coach Nard has had many years of experience with athletics. He was our freshman football coach for eight years, assistant boys' basketball coach for eleven years, head tennis coach for three years and head boys basketball coach for eight years. During his years as head coach, his basketball teams won one SVC title and three district titles. In addition, he holds the distinction of directing the only undefeated team in the history of the school. Their 1989 record was 20-0 with 23-1 for the season.

He is currently head coach of our girls basketball team. Coach Nard's teams have established a 103-56 record during the past seven years. They have achieved two district titles and were district runner-ups twice.

In addition to teaching health and physical education to our 9th and 10th grades, he is ticket manager for athletic events.
