| Miss Nancy Shugart, who holds a Bachelor
of Science degree from Youngstown State University and a Master's
Degree in Religious Education from Loyola Univ. of New Orleans, has
taught in several Catholic elementary schools before coming to Cardinal
Mooney. Miss Shugart joined the Mooney faculty in 1977, she is a member
of the Religion Dept. and teaches Morality and Social Issues, Christian
Scripture, and Peace and Community
Her experience also includes several years as Girls'
Track Coach. During these years, she was twice named the Northeast
Coach of the Year for Girls' Track for the State of Ohio. Miss Shugart
directs the CARD Control
Club and Insight Programs which deal with Substance Abuse Prevention.
She also coordinates the Peer
Mediation program and does the stats for the Mooney football
program
