| Karen Wright, our environmental science
and math teacher, is a graduate of Youngstown State University with
a Master's Degree in mathematics. Her experience includes one year
at John F. Kennedy in Warren and five years at Sharpsville Middle
School. She joined Mooney's faculty in 1987.
Presently, Mrs. Wright is involved with the Domestic Extemp. division
of our speech team, preparing
students to compete in Ohio's yearly envirothon, and along with
Miss Bacha, moderates the new Academic
Challenge Club.
Mrs. Wright and her husband Ray, an engineer with Delphi Packard
Electric live in Hubbard. They have 2 daughters. Alison was recently
married, and Sara, a 2002 Mooney graduate is a student at UNCW.
A third child, Evan, a 1999 graduate of Mooney is deceased.
In her spare time, Mrs. Wright enjoys volleyball, walking, reading
and vacationing at the ocean. She also enjoys driving "her"
new Alero, the result of a ticket bought for Mooney's 2002 Spring
raffle!
