Our wide range of summer camp options are designed to introduce students to the exciting,
hands-on learning environment and engaging, caring teachers at Cardinal Mooney!

Basketball (Boys, Grades K-4)
Designed for young athletes, this session introduces the basics of basketball through skill-building drills and games. Players will learn dribbling, passing and shooting while having fun in a positive atmosphere.

Basketball (Boys, Grades 5-8)
Take your game to the next level with advanced skill development, team play and competition. This session focuses on shooting, defense and game strategy with instruction from Mooney’s coaches and players.

Basketball (Girls, Grades K-4)
Young players will build fundamental basketball skills through fun drills and activities. Participants will focus on dribbling, passing and shooting while learning teamwork and sportsmanship.

Basketball (Girls, Grades 5-8)
Designed for players looking to develop their game, this session emphasizes skill development, shooting technique and defensive strategies. Instruction is provided by Mooney coaches and players.

Cheerleading (Grades K-8)
Learn cheers, chants, jumps and basic stunting from Cardinal Mooney’s cheerleaders and coaches. Participants will build confidence, teamwork and spirit in a fun and encouraging setting.

Football (Grades 3-8)
Join Mooney’s football coaches and players for skill development, teamwork and competition. Participants will learn offensive and defensive fundamentals in a safe, high-energy environment.

Lacrosse (Boys & Girls, Grades 5-8)
Learn the fundamentals of lacrosse from Cardinal Mooney’s experienced coaches and players. This program focuses on stick skills, game strategy and teamwork in a fun and competitive environment. Players of all experience levels are welcome.

Soccer (Boys & girls, grades 4-8)
A fun, supportive environment for players of all levels to sharpen their skills. Led by coaches from both our men’s & women’s programs, the camp blends skill-focused drills with high-intensity, and fun games to foster confidence & teamwork.

Volleyball (Grades 5-8)
Improve your volleyball skills with instruction from Mooney’s coaches and players. This session covers passing, setting, hitting and serving, with an emphasis on teamwork and game play.

ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT CAMPS
Explore, create, and learn this summer at Cardinal Mooney High School! Our enrichment camps offer engaging opportunities for students to develop new skills and make lasting memories.

STEAM (Boys & girls, grades 2-5) 
Explore, create, and innovate through hands-on STEAM activities! This camp blends creativity with technical skills in interactive projects that build problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Guided by our amazing science, math, art, and drama teachers, it’s a camp packed with discovery and inspiration.
 
Camp Little Cardinals (Boys & girls, grades K-2)
Our Little Cardinals will have a blast with relay races, kickball, obstacle courses, plus art and dancing fun. This camp highlights the joy of physical activity, friendship-building, and opportunities to show off skills learned in physical education classes.

Baking (Boys & girls, grades 3-8)
Join Mrs. Angela Briceland from AngeNetta’s for a hands-on, creative, and educational experience! Participants will learn to mix, measure, and bake a sweet treat in a safe, fun environment. This experience is designed to build kitchen confidence, promote creativity, and foster a love for baking.

Art
Grades K–3: July 14
Grades 4–8: July 15
Join Mrs. Melissa Peluso, art teacher from St. Charles, for a morning full of creativity! This guided drawing and painting session will feature a summer theme, encouraging young artists to express themselves while learning new techniques.
