Admissions Process Overview

Cardinal Mooney is a private Catholic high school accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association. Cardinal Mooney is a four-year coeducational high school with grades 9 through 12.

Cardinal Mooney has maintained a tradition of academic, extra-curricular and spiritual excellence since its inception in 1956.

Please take these steps to begin the admissions process and learn more about Cardinal Mooney.

1. Attend an Open House

Join us at our Fall Open House on Nov. 3, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. to discover Cardinal Mooney and learn more about what makes us unique! 

Visit us for a guided tour of our campus. You will have the opportunity to learn about each academic department, our Campus Ministry and Theology departments, and our extracurricular activities. Our administrators, faculty members, and team coaches will be available to answer your questions and explain our programs.

2. Shadow a Current Student

Shadowing provides an excellent opportunity for students to spend time at Mooney – attending our classes, touring our beautiful campus and meeting our amazing teachers and students.

3. Take a Placement Test

All incoming freshman wishing to qualify for the Mooney Merit Scholarship must take this Freshman Placement Test.

4. Apply To Cardinal Mooney
