We are proud to celebrate Madison Richey, a CMHS alumna making her mark in the world of engineering!
Madison graduated from Ohio University in December 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering along with a Construction Management Certificate.
Drawn to civil engineering for its impact on the environment and the variety of career paths it offers, Madison discovered a passion for construction management along the way. Through hands-on internships, she contributed to major transportation projects including road widening, bridge reconstruction, and roundabout construction, gaining real-world experience that’s helping shape her future.
Outside of academics, Madison stayed active and engaged while at OU, playing club soccer, volunteering at a local dog shelter, and working as a club sports supervisor.
This June, Madison will take the next exciting step in her journey as she moves to Atlanta, GA to begin her career with Kimley-Horn as a Civil Analyst. In this role, she’ll help design site layouts, grading plans, and utility systems—playing a key part in building and improving communities.
In her free time, Madison still enjoys playing soccer, spending time and traveling with family & friends, reading and hiking!
Congratulations and best of luck, Madison! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next!
