YOUNGSTOWN – Pierce Jones, class of 2026, interned at Center Street Technologies, a company specializing in 3D design and printing. During his time there, he gained hands-on experience in various areas, including machine maintenance, attending team meetings, and shadowing professionals involved in 3D scanning and design. The internship provided valuable insight into the daily responsibilities of different types of engineers, helping him better understand the field.
In addition to exploring different engineering processes, Pierce also developed practical skills relevant to the industry. This experience will play a key role in guiding his choice of engineering discipline as he prepares for college.
