After a successful 2025 campaign ending with a 10-3 record and Regional championship. The Cardinals are reloaded and prepping for another playoff run, with hopes of adding a 9th State Championship to the Mooney program. With big names across the roster including Linebacker Rocco Zabel, Receiver and Defensive Back Brayden Bryant, and Edge Dom Letlow. All with multiple Division 1 offers from all around the country. Frank Colaprete is taking on his second year as the Head Coach of the Cardinal Crew and is setting the team up for huge success.

The schedule is set with 7 home games, and 2 away, with a week 2 bye heading into a heavily anticipated Canfield matchup week 3, where the team is looking to get their “get back” after a loss to the Cardinals the previous year. The Regular season ends with a return to the Ice Castle where they face the Ursuline Irish, adding to the historic rivalry. Big games and big opportunities to make a name for themselves among the valley’s best teams.

The big question is who will be the big name handling the ball on the offensive attack. Massimo Furr is looking to shake things up in the Quarterback competition with 2 year starter Vince Gentile. Both are Seniors with elite leadership and passing abilities. They will have the privilege of working with a loaded backfield and skilled receivers. Junior Tyree Dawson and Senior Brady Desmond will be running the rock for the Cardinal attack, paired with Seniors Michael “Reggie” Shiraldi and Brayden Bryant catching the ball on the perimeter.

With another successful offseason lifting program, led by Strength Coach Sean Bowen, wrapping up. The team is stronger than ever and prepared to take on some of the toughest opponents in North East Ohio.
