Dear Cardinal Mooney Families,
We are excited to begin preparations for a new school year filled with continued growth, achievement, and community at Cardinal Mooney High School. As we build upon our longstanding tradition of academic excellence and spiritual formation, we invite you to complete the reenrollment process for the upcoming school year.
Tuition for the 2026–2027 school year will be $11,400, plus a $400 Student Life Fee. The additional revenue from this year’s increase will help offset rising salary and benefit costs and will support the continued expansion of our academic programs, faith formation, and student enrichment opportunities. The true cost to educate a student at Cardinal Mooney is approximately $15,000 per year. We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our alumni, benefactors, and the Diocese of Youngstown, whose commitment helps bridge this gap and keeps Catholic education accessible for our families.
We are pleased to continue offering a $1,000 Parishioner Grant to support our parish families, as regular Mass attendance and active parish involvement play a vital role in our students’ faith development. In addition, Cardinal Mooney will once again offer more than twenty scholarships, which are listed on our website. We are also encouraged that approximately 95% of our families utilize the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship, further helping to make a Catholic, college-preparatory education at Mooney affordable for families throughout Youngstown.
Within the next week, you will receive an email from our Finance Department with re-enrollment instructions. Please review, complete, and return all required documents to Finance via the email sent to you from finance@cardinalmooney.com. Once all paperwork is received, students will be eligible to schedule their classes.
